The majestic view of lower Himalayas attracts the hikers; also the place offers good trekking from Kufri, Solan, Junga and Ashwani Khad.   • Chail Sanctuary:


    Located at an altitude of 2180m and about 3 kms from the town the sanctuary offers picturesque landscape and is a home of varied wild-life which includes Ghoral, Sambhar, Kakkar, Himalayan black beer and colourful chirping birds. For easy spotting of wild fauna the place has sight-seeing points.

  • Cricket ground:


    The world highest cricket ground was built in 1893 is palisade with thick deodar forest.

  • Sadhupul Lake:

  • Chail Gurudwara:


    The Gurudwara was designed in Indo-western style was the first building to be constructed by Maharaja of Patiala even before the construction of the palace. The highlighting feature of the Gurudwara is the fact that it structure resembles the Church and it has a 22 feet high wooden roof. The Gurudwara is also known to provide free accommodation to its visitors in its dormitory and guest houses.

  • Kali Devi Temple:


    The temple located at apex of the mountain, popularly known as Kali ka Tibba is visited by mass no. of tourist from across the world. Beside religious significance the temple offers spectacular view of Choor Chandni and Shivalik range. You can also engage yourself in nearby adventure activities like horse riding and angling.

  • Siddh Baba ka Mandir:


    As per legends, the saint appeared in the dream of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh and specified it as the spot he meditated. The dream directed the king to construct the temple.
